Our Story​

The Origin

The story of Chefs across Nations started with a conversation three co-workers were having over lunch.

It was early 2022, and one of the colleagues had brought in a dish that had been canned about a year ago. The rest of the office was stunned: not only was the food tasty & authentic, but it was actually better than fresh food! That’s when they started doing some research & created a few samples for people to taste & try and the response was phenomenal. They decided to further explore opportunities on canned food as an offering to customers. This quickly led them to start a brand that is inspired by festivals where people experience varied chefs who make high-quality canned items available to people who want to eat well and travel the world but don’t necessarily have the time or ability to do so.

This brand is inspired by the book “Around the World in Eighty Days,” and their first festival—which will take place in Singapore—will feature 80 different chefs from around the world who will be preparing dishes that reflect their unique regions. Since then, these three founders have been sourcing ingredients and finding chefs they feel can contribute something unique & authentic as we all get ready for this first-of-its-kind festival.

When we started Chefs across Nations, our vision was simple: to build a global kitchen experience for everyone to try. Our mission is to make it easy for chefs from 80 different countries to deliver high-quality, ready-to-eat meals that they can be proud of – and which you will love!

We started by thinking about what people around the world want from food: high quality, ready to eat, and delicious. Then we thought about how all these fantastic chefs from 80 different countries were going to deliver on that promise. So we made it easy for them—we put together an experience that would exceed our customers’ wildest dreams. How? By delivering a variety of cuisines in a tiny, 500 ml can that doesn’t need to be refrigerated. We took it a step further by creating a festival where one can experience the many flavors and styles of global cuisine, without having to leave your country.

That means you can try an incredible range of flavours—from Korea’s spicy fermented vegetables (kimchi) to Sweden’s rich potato soup (kroppkakor)—in a fraction of the time it would take you to make them yourself. All you have to do is open up a can!
The first festival will launch right here in Singapore, where we conceived the idea and found a perfect place to execute it: a melting pot of mixed cultures where you can find some of the best dishes in the world!

The world is a beautiful place, and we are always happy to see people of different cultures come together. This is why, we at Chefs across Nations, have been working with some of the best chefs around the world to bring you the most authentic local dishes from around the globe.

While we plan to get all these unique dishes by chefs from 80 countries together for you to relish it in cans later; we believe that the festival experience is for you to experience the best of all cultures, which would run across 30 days where we invite you to taste the different food, experience the dishes live and take some memories about what each country and culture has to offer. It would be a food festival like never before for you to experience the authentic local dishes for each region to try and experience the world like never before
